Scholarships

Candidates for Academic Scholarships must exhibit excellence in academics and should have completed the entire application process. We offer one full-tuition scholarship with a variety of additional merit-based scholarships.

Piano

Audition Requirements:

• Major and harmonic minor scales and arpeggios (up to and including 4 sharps and 4 flats) to be performed at a comfortable tempo and in at least two octaves.

• The first movement of a sonata or higher-level sonatina by Clementi, Mozart, Haydn, or Beethoven

Audition Requirements:

*Students will be asked to demonstrate their aural skills by listening to short melodic phrases and singing them back with correct pitch and rhythm.

Instrumental

Audition Requirements:

The Alumnae Association of 格温内斯仁慈学院高中 funds a scholarship that is open to prospective freshman students with familial relationships to graduates or current students of Gwynedd. The scholarship honors the traditions of 格温内斯仁慈学院高中 and the work of the Alumnae Association in supporting and enhancing those traditions. In addition, an important goal of the Legacy Scholarship is to assist an incoming freshman student who might otherwise be unable to attend Gwynedd.

One Legacy Scholarship will be available for award to an incoming member of the freshman class who is accepted by the Admissions Office.

要申请遗产奖学金，申请人必须:

• Have a familial relationship to a graduate(s) or current student(s) of 格温内斯仁慈学院高中 (i.e. 子女、兄弟姐妹、孙辈、继子女、侄女或表亲).

After applications are submitted and reviewed, some applicants may be asked to complete an interview 与校友会奖学金委员会成员会面.

对STEM充满热情并选择从事STEM职业的学生(Science, Technology, Engineering, M我们鼓励学生申请STEM奖学金.

STEM奖学金将颁发给2028届的2名学生. The recipients of the STEM Scholarship will receive automatic entry into the Innovation Scholars program. 作为STEM奖学金获得者, students' course loads will be STEM-focused and they will have the opportunity to develop and execute a capstone research project on the topic of their choice over their sophomore, junior & senior years. Students will also work with our STEM Faculty in securing externships in their fields of interest. 

STEM Scholarship recipients will be required to maintain a designated general average over the course of each year and adhere to the Innovation Scholars program requirements, which includes a capstone project and digital portfolio that aligns with the STEM topic about which they are most passionate. 

Students interested in applying for the STEM Scholarship must submit the STEM Scholarship Application (link below) by Friday, October 6.
